As I am sending my Christmas and New Year wishes I firstly want to say a heartfelt “Thank you!” for all the benevolence, all help and support and every sign of friendship which I was privileged to receive this year.
The extraordinary events in the year 2016 were
The premiere of our image film “Where misery is met by love” on 10th June at Stuttgart/Germany, which was filmed at Mandeni in January. We did not pay even a single cent for the entire production. A huge “Thank you!” to Moritz Schreiner, Simon X Rost, Peter Schöllhorn and Jessica Mayer!
The 20th anniversary of the blessing of Blessed Gérard’s Church and Blessed Gérard’s Care Centre on 3rd September.
The First Aid Service of two South African teams in the Vatican Basilicas in Rome from 28th October to 13th November during the Year of Mercy.
Without your donations we would not be able provide our comprehensive and holistic system of care through Blessed Gerard's Care Centre by running Health Care Projects (AIDS-Care, Hospice, Poor Sick Fund), Child Care Projects (Pre-Primary School, Children's Home, Malnutrition Clinic, Bursary Fund) and Relief and Social Care Projects (Relief Fund, First Aid & Emergency Service, Disaster Relief).
